More and more pet owners are now using a method of feeding a dog or a cat an appropriate natural diet known as "raw feeding". Due to the tremendous increase of inquiries of this nature we are now offering our farm raised emu for "raw feeding" diets. We offer it in leg portions, chunks and ground. The individual leg portions come with the drum and thigh bone intact.

Unlike some other red meat choices, EMU meat provides better health benefits than traditional meat proteins - even chicken or turkey and by ranking superior in nutrition in 15 of the 20 essentials categories according to USDA. Our emus are raised free-range along with a special diet that does not include steroids, growth hormones or antibiotics.

The red meat is an excellent alternative for red meat, but is lower in cholesterol, fat, and calories while at the same time higher in protein according to some studies.

Due to the high demand for the emu meat, we are currently sold out. It will be available again in spring of 2011.

In addition to the meat, the Pure All Natural Emu Oil can be used on pets in many applications to improve many conditions without side effects.

Emu Oil is a healthy, complex, topical or ingestible oil, rich in Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids to nourish the skin. Emu Oil also contains a natural anti-inflammatory and is trans-dermal.

Some common uses of Emu Oil on pets are for skin problems where there is drying and flaking of the skin, minor cuts and abrasions, hot spots. It is used as a linament for muscle related soreness, arthritis, and swelling in joints and fetlocks.
